For Tennessee Law Enforcement and First Responders
Huuso Bio Tennessee supports law enforcement with emergency decontamination for squad cars, cells, and facilities, preventive maintenance plans for departments, referral resources for the families officers meet on their worst days, and the Elevate Blue scholarship program for the law enforcement community.
Officers see the scenes first, and officers are usually the ones a family turns to and asks: what do we do now? This page exists for both halves of that reality: keeping your people and equipment safe, and giving you something genuinely useful to hand a family.
Decontamination for Departments
- Squad cars and transport vehicles after contamination events, returned to service fast
- Holding cells, booking areas, and facilities
- Preventive maintenance decontamination plans tailored to department needs and budgets
For the Families You Meet
When a family asks what happens next, our step-by-step guide and our Tennessee support directory were built to be handed over, and the printable After the Call checklist Huuso-Bio-Tennessee-Law-Enforcement-Resource-Sheet.pdf fits in a cruiser’s glovebox. Victim witness coordinators are welcome to distribute all of it; no permission needed, ever.
Elevate Blue
Huuso Bio supports the law enforcement community through the Elevate Blue scholarship program. The Elevate Blue Scholarship is a Huuso Bio-sponsored program created to support law enforcement through advanced leadership education and stronger community connections. Participating law enforcement agencies register for the program and are entered into a drawing to become one of five finalists. Once the finalists are selected, community members, family, friends, and supporters are invited to vote for the department they want to see receive the scholarship. The winning agency receives a voucher for advanced law enforcement leadership training through the Northwestern University Center for Public Safety, with eligible programs including Executive Management, Supervision of Police Personnel, and the School of Police Staff & Command. The scholarship may be used within three years of its presentation, giving the winning department flexibility to invest in the professional development of its leadership team. Elevate Blue is one of the ways Huuso Bio gives back to the law enforcement professionals and communities we are honored to serve.
FAQ
Does the department pay for family referrals?
No. Referring a family costs the department nothing and obligates no one. Families deal directly with us, and most cleanup is covered by insurance or the state compensation fund.
